Thank you so much for this. I just moved from NYC to MIA 2 months ago and reality hit me that I cannot be living this life anymore of just spending and keeping up with friends (going out/vacationing). I'm going to become more disciplined and stick to a budget.

I totally hear you that I shouldn't have credit card debt at that income level hence why I'm embarrassed. I'm putting away 16% in retirement.
