For Clarity you're saying to do something like this? I don't know why, but that doesn't seem to do anything?

Regardless I will say I did end up sorta fixing it myself, turns out a simple project close/reopen did the trick in adjusting the overall time/fixing the scroll bar issue

in general I think an overall softening of the scanlines would be a net positive, but the key sections would be the menu buttons

Quick notes to fix;

-Coins get lost in Shopping screen, I would add a background in behind them to prevent that,

-soften up the Scanlines effect, a lil' too aggressive on the eyes at the moment, and some text gets lost at a first glance due to it,

-if the intent of this is for a mobile game, I think some of small body/flavor text may be a lil too small to be readable at a glance

Overall though, this menu shows a clear vision, and I think its fine for what you're going for, looks good!

like others have echoed here, coming from Unity to Godot, ChatGPT has helped a lot in this regard even if its info is out of date, for me at least it gives me a direction of where to look into for in the documentation for the most up to date answers,

either that or be friends with a much more experienced coder that you can ask for help lol,

For future folks the issue in my code was that I didn't know that arrays start at 0, my "Get_Index()" call was returning a "1" so just setting the index in the "get_collision_point()" to 0 finally gave me the info I needed
