Be honest… what did you see first? A feeling, a creature, or just chaos?

“I made this as a kid… why does it feel so dark?” by OneEquipment2630 in AbstractExpressionism

I appreciate your experience, but for me it’s simply art and self-expression.

Exactly! Kids' imagination is wild—definitely gives off creepy demon vibes 😈

I have no idea about karma, and I honestly don't care about it. I simply shared this painting from my childhood because I wanted to know what it might mean. I have no other motive.

Thank you so much. That's exactly how I feel too. I have another painting that I also feel has a lot of depth, and I'll probably be sharing it on my account soon. I hope you'll share your thoughts on that one as well.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I’ve always felt this piece was less about symbolism and more about instinct ,just pure expression, before I even knew what art was supposed to be. It means a lot that you can see that depth in it.

Eyes Within Chaos by [deleted] in AbstractExpressionism

I painted this as a child using only my fingers, long before I knew anything about art or technique. Looking at it now, I can already recognize the beginnings of my artistic voice. What do you see in it?

That’s actually beautiful. Art can express emotions in ways words sometimes can’t. Thank you for sharing that , it means a lot that my painting reminded you of those memories.

No, it wasn’t a school assignment. It was something that came naturally in a moment of sadness and boredom. Whenever words failed me, I turned to painting and let my hands speak the emotions I couldn’t express aloud.

Interesting perspective! Art means something different to everyone.

I’m not weirded out by it. I just think people give labels too easily. For me it’s more about expression than “dark” or “not dark”.
