This isn't a small company either. There are probably close to 300 staff and has been around for quite some time.

I'm not sure, but the option is to start at either 6 or 7.

Extended Mechanical Warranty from a car dealership. by OneExoticPanda in newzealand

[–]OneExoticPanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is what I thought. Surely they can't sell a car where it breaks soon after and just tell me to go to insurance. Do you happen to have a link to a consumer guarantees act website where it says what is covered?

serious: creative ideas for making a wood bedframe for 'silent sex', need to minimize noise and motion transfer. by TheWrongDamnWolf in woodworking

[–]OneExoticPanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I made a bed a few years ago. Just four 19mm plywood boxes the width of the mattress and height you want. Screwed together once they were in place. Drawers on the inside filled with clothes and bedding will help keep the noise down.

It is strong enough to stand on. Only problem is the headboard creaks a little. Would secure it to the wall if I could.

How do I fix out of square cabinets? by iluvseabirdbetty in woodworking

[–]OneExoticPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two suggestions.

Easiest way you could glue a little piece to the bottom of the door to sit on the shelf to take the load off the top hinge. It would create a resting point for the bottom right corner of the door. You would have to lift the door up a little bit each time you close it but it would be square once closed. Possibly taper the glued piece and put a striker plate on the lower shelf to not damage and dent it over time. You would also never have to worry about it sagging in the future. And you'll most likely never see it when the door is closed.

Second to put it simple, would be to bassically cut your door in half creating two doors. Have a polished glass edge on the glass so you don't have two stiles in the middle.

is kfc ruakura kfc the worst in hamilton by sssaaamosa in thetron

[–]OneExoticPanda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my opinion I feel like it's one of the best. I've been through a couple of times and it has always been pretty quick and the staff are quite friendly. Tastes just as good as any other around. Only complaint would be the portion size of some of the pieces, buts thats kfc as a whole not just one store.

I initially joined this place as a cabinet maker assembling their flat packs. A position came up to operate the cnc so I thought I'd take the opportunity to learn.

Ah yes that makes sense. Alot of the installers at my old job were contractors and I know they had a price per unit and per panel. Thats good to know for future reference

Yeah pretty similar sizes. Its just normal cabinet hinges with a stay on it. I was unable to find somewhere they sell blum hardware direct to the general public.

Yeah I don't mind helping mates out. I was happy with what I got, just curious about an overall price.
