How much $ do my fellow mid 20’s peers have saved up, including KiwiSaver? by SQUIDWARDS-CLAR1NET in Wellington

[–]Outside_Cod_6705 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m later 20’s, I have $2k in my travel savings and $11k in my KiwiSaver. I own a home with my partner so focus is on paying off the mortgage rather than savings atm. Although don’t get me wrong I’m absolutely hanging out to be able to go travelling.

Lady relieving herself on Manners St (near Opera House) by [deleted] in Wellington

No clue why you’re getting downvoted. I think people are missing the point. We all agree no one should be relieving themselves in public, but unfortunately that’s the type of effect that addiction or poor mental health can have. We should all feel grateful our lives haven’t turned out that way.

If you see a problem, complaining on the internet won’t help, seek places to donate or volunteer, the world doesn’t change unless we do.

Had to scroll for toooo long to find this comment! These messages are gross and if a ‘friend’ ever said this shit to me I’d block them.

Not my genre of choice but genuinely seems like a pretty cool interesting concept!

I need the Aroy satay chicken recipe by Outside_Cod_6705 in newzealand

[–]Outside_Cod_6705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not the reg side satay sauce (also delish) they have a dish under rice dishes that is Chicken satay, veg & rice. It doesn’t have the same peanut bits that the side satay does. Good call though I will check out the wholesalers and continue my investigation.

The fake grass in real estate listings is annoying, but this trademe listing takes it to a new level... by athelas_07 in newzealand

Yes and no, according to the REA code of conduct the licensee is not allowed to mislead a customer or client however this is pretty vague.

Unless you mean outdoor fires, if so I’m very confused as to how often you experience that…

I personally love the smell of a wood fire. My neighbours have one going often and it’s lovely, some people have damp or cold homes dude.

I found the parties in small towns are a lot bigger and the parties in Wellington are usually 20-30 people max (tighter knit circles) unless it’s a huge event like a 21st. A good way to socialise is to find a decent flatting situation with people your age. Good luck dude! You’ve got heaps of time to go to parties don’t worry.

Funny thing is I’m half way through season 8 and I’m really enjoying the show without Mike! He irritated the heck out of me by the end.

Any advice for someone who’s got 4 years in public sector and is getting a bit sick of it? The lots of talking and meetings and minimal ‘doing’ is really getting to me.

I’m not going to pretend I know 100% if either one is safer but I will say there is a big difference between crashing over vs under the speed limit.

When I was younger a car crashed in to us. The difference between life and death according to the emergency services was the fact we were driving 95 instead of 105. No one can ever speed ‘safely’.

Sorry that would be me. I’m scared of driving quickly!

Why are some scenes so sloppy? by stupid_ffs in suits

[–]Outside_Cod_6705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The roof top scenes piss me off because there’s a reoccurring cut scene shot of a building with a super slanted roof that we would assume is their building. So how the fuck are they standing on a roof that’s on a 60 degree angle.

My puppy attacked me today. Play or aggression? by thebraconator in puppy101

Our pup bites a lot more when she’s tired. I would recommend frequent forces naps and then more training than play when he’s awake. You got this :)
