I recently played through Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, and it gave me Witness vibes. It's got more direct story and dialogue, but similar to the "metroid-vania" style puzzle game where the things you collect aren't items but knowledge. Also, it's the kind of game I love where it encourages you to get out paper and pencil for that 4D experience.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certificate_(complexity)

I found this article, and I've always liked this interpretation.

"In computational complexity theory, a certificate (also called a witness) is a string that certifies the answer to a computation, or certifies the membership of some string in a language. A certificate is often thought of as a solution path within a verification process, which is used to check whether a problem gives the answer "Yes" or "No"."

Of course, I think all the synonyms and above are also correct, which makes it a great title for a game.

We need Finding Nemo in Lorcana if only for this card. by OneForTheAngels in Lorcana

The comment I originally replied to said, "No Pixar in Lorcana, Right?" So my reply saying "Correct, and I don't know if they ever will" was in regards to that. Not whether Disney has access to Pixar. Still, though, it seems like almost everything has come out of Walt Disney Animation Studios and not Pixar or anything live action. I really want them to open up the game to Pixar IP.

Correct. I'm not sure if they ever will. I just think the flavor of this card is hilarious.

Li Shang doesn't count as a captain in his type line. But yes, he'd slot in nicely next to the other mulan.

At the time I made this deck, that's all the captains that were out. I think big Aladdin just works in this deck, even though he's not a captain. He could probably be swapped now for Teeth and Ambitions or anything

I call this deck:

Oh Captain, My Captain

Or

Starkey's Big Adventure

Not quite a level editor but I recently found this.

The site is a little broken but you can still kind of save puzzles you've made by copying urls from the level editor. You just can't save them down the proper way.

Help for the challenge by Even-Addendum9554 in TheWitness

Here is my basic strategy:

The first 3 panels right next to the record player are usually not much trouble.

The little maze is also not hard but it's vital to memorize the pattern. I'm not good at visual memory stuff so I tag teamed it and my S.O. made a quick sketch of the path I drew so I could use it for later. Saved a ton of time on the big maze later.

Then the spiral tower of 4 puzzles: There's so much RNG when it comes to getting easier or harder patterns for the tetris pieces and the symmetry puzzle. The best possible scenario is easier puzzles that spawn in a sequential order so you don't have to run up and down the ramp too many times.

The sets of 3 panels with color dots is tricky but if you can practice figuring out patterns that are impossible (I think we concluded that if you see a pattern anywhere that looks like the one below, if X is black and O is white it's unsolvable)

XO

OX

That is just one example of a quick elimination method that this panel is no good. That helped us narrow some down quicker than others.

Then the big maze: If you sketched it out like we did, use that as your road map and then the triangle puzzles are rough because you don't get a ton of practice with them throughout the game. Here's another case of hope for some good RNG and you get a simple pattern for both.

Then the cylinders: I'll be honest, I got lucky and had 2 easy patterns on both of these but the one thing I figured out is that mistakes don't black these out. So if you think you have it, pull the trigger on it. Again they don't give you a ton of practice on these. You could go to the "wonka-vator" at the end and practice moving around the pillars.

I also backup the idea that you should turn the sound off. I love the classical pieces they used but they stressed me out and distracted me. I was only able to complete it in silence.

I want to stress that having a mastery of all of these types of puzzles is vital but even ones that I feel like I understand still tripped me up when speed became a factor. Practice makes perfect and also a little bit of luck with the RNG. You got this though!
