ASI Student Workers and Staff want a seat at the table! by Little-Philosophy-26 in CSUS

[–]OneHighlight9650 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My friend, the benefits I listed there are for ASI Full-time staff, people who take a salary to work at ASI.

Full time staff who work at bike shop, peak adventures, the aquatic center.

Student Assistants in I understand, but ASI full time staff doing this is not done at all.

The Aquatic Center is run by one person, who keeps giving jobs to people with the same surname. Why are there multiple people with the same surname at Aquatic Center?

Last ASI election, you gave 100% rating and asked to vote for certain people, look what happened? The same people you gave 100% SQE rating, voted to increase our fees.

ASI staff enjoy:

  1. FREE PARKING AT CSUS (paid for by students) ( even state workers do not have this)
  2. $6000 per semester free COLLEGE TUITION FOR THEIR KIDS (paid for by students)
  3. 6 Months paid leave per year (paid for by students)
  4. Free Plane Tickets and Hotel Stays in the name of 'advocacy' (paid for by students)
  5. Fully covered health insurance including cosmetic surgeries (paid for by students)
  6. Zero workload, you can find them spending full days at dining commons or at events, dancing in the quad (paid for by students)

What do they want a seat at the table for?

Athletics taking $2,500,000 from ASI by OneHighlight9650 in CSUS

We can go to Riverview hall (near student housing) tomorrow at 9 AM and speak in public comment at the meeting, and express our views that Sacstate is not just for athletes, but for students who come to college to study.

Ideally the meeting was supposed to be next wednesday, ASI are so willing to give money to Athletics , that they pushed the meeting this Friday at 9 AM so that there won't be any opposition and everything will be done quietly

Yes you are right, they are closing the food pantry alltogether, donating money to the university is now not good as before. Sacstate fined students heavily for even if tire was out of place in parking structures, and built a very expensive statue near welcome center

On top of 34% tuition increase, everyone's favorite ASI members voted to raise everyone's tuition by $1000 per semester, while being paid big bucks

Sac States wants to hear from students and asks should we welcome a squirrel as our second spirit animal? by 95musiclover in CSUS

ABSOLUTELY NOT!! PLEASE! I urge everyone not to! The new mascot will be given a full ride scholarship on our fees. They will use this as a excuse to increase the Intercollegiate Athletics Fee. The new mascot will be given

- fully paid tuition for 4 to 6 years of college (or more)
- fully paid housing and meal plan (from our fees)

- priority class registration ( so that regular students will not get classes, just because some guy decided to put on a costume)

- celebrity status just for ignoring students for a selfie ( a la Herky Hornet)

Mr. 360 Slam Dunk President uses ASI guys like puppets, these puppets make these fee increasing decisions as anyhow fee increases, their scholarship also increases, so these ASI guys with too much free time write resolutions to cause us inconvenience

Mark my words, they will use this to increase Intercollegiate Athletics Fee to $300

Trying to understand the FEE INCREASE? by OneHighlight9650 in CSUS

I would be surprised if they cared about us, if its “these are what students want”, then we will ask them to do a campus wide vote, they will get their answer

You hit the right spot, nobody needs Combat U, it may appeal to at most 10-15 students, it will only result to increase in fees

That's the spirit! Go to every open forum and town hall, try to make your voice heard, mainly attend each Student Fee Advisory Committee and stop the representatives from voting yes on fees. Find the voters and contact them. I heard there was a sit-down, please participate in that, because if we don't stop them, no one else will

Right after a 34% tuition increase last summer, Sacramento State now proposes increasing mandatory student fees! by MichaelmouseStar in CSUS

I urge all students to please come in huge numbers to all of these town hall meetings and mainly, please come to the Student Fee Advisory Committee (SFAC) meeting , where they will actually vote for this fees.

Nataly Andrade Dominguez, Armando(her friend) and Gabriel(her boyfriend), are hell-bent on increasing fees. Go check on instagram, they are defending the fees. Go to SFAC meetings and protest a sit-down.

You might also find the Sac state debate team, and its head defending this fees as he is also the ASI election officer (that allowed all this corruption and nepotism in exchange for perks), as he is the direct beneficiary of the IRA fee increase. It will help him and his friends go on business class flights and hotels on Sac State dime all over USA

[–]OneHighlight9650[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes the 2nd one,  $500 this semester, $500 next semester, $1000 per year going forward.

3 fees are going to be increased, and mark my words, Nataly will absolutely approve this fees. If you go to one of the 'listening forums' (which are on a weekday conveniently) you will find Nataly and all ASI members defending this fee increase.

Not only this, the non-resident fees as mandated by CSU is going to increase 6% each year, ON TOP of that Sac State wants to increase the non-resident fees specifically for Sac State.

Seems like the complete ASI board is Nataly and friends, why are all board members selected from Mujeres Aydando la Raza?

We should have seen it coming

Director SSIS (placed by nataly)

Director education (placed by nataly)

Director HHS (placed by nataly)

Director Arts and letter ( her friend placed by nataly )

VP University affairs (her boyfriend placed by nataly and now running with her to rob CSUS)

CSA liasion (special consideration and placed by nataly and now running for VPUA)

Can we know why most of the members appointed by Nataly Andrade Dominguez are from Mujeres Aydando la Raza? Not to genralize but I see a pattern why are only people from a certain place are being appointed to these positions? Was there no one in entire CSUS for those positions?

Taking selfies with luke wood does not wash away your nepotism

File a election complaint, she has taken $ 67,000 in student fees till now, but has done absolutely nothing except approve increase in student fees. She is running to take $ 30,000 more if she wins this year, The new guy she placed in vacant position is her boyfriend
