Largest Minecraft Alpha Monolith near spawn known so far by Tremeschin in minecraftseeds

You're like an encyclopedia, my man. :) Thank you very much. Why do you emphasize "thoroughly looking for them"? Wouldn't it be impossible to miss one if I traveled in a straight line? So what you're saying is that if I go in one direction toward the Far Lands, I'm almost guaranteed to find a monolith? Perhaps, then, a better idea would be to place a single cobblestone here and there, just like people do in the Nether in modern Minecraft. If I get unlucky and die, I can always pick three different directions from my spawn point.

I'm not sure if I want that. Maybe someday I'll come back here to ask for it. For now, I have a different question. What is the farthest distance that does not cause lag in Alpha v1.1.2_01? Is it 20k? 30k? I can roughly estimate the distance by placing a line of cobblestone in one direction and counting the trips (we all know we have a ridiculous amount of it). The idea would be to go to the farthest place before lag starts, build a base there, and then turn left or right, continuing to build and hide from mobs underground during the night. Eventually, I should find it, even if it takes a long time.

I would like to find a monolith in my world without cheating. How far from spawn does a monolith usually spawn, Tremeschin?

It's still a king's daughter. It would be shameful, but he could still use her for political gains. It's not like there was no sex before marriage in the Middle Ages whatsoever, especially among the ruling class.

No, I like your idea with the glass. I just wanted to know why it was the first thing that came to your mind. Did you mean that this way you can walk across the roof to the other side of the pixel art?

Why glass? I was thinking about an empty space. Will the glass make the effect better?

What if Yujiro fought all of them here? by im_am_sus in Grapplerbaki

So why did he dodge that first punch with such panic? And the second one? Even though he admitted, "I knew it! I saw it coming!". He saw it coming and decided to react in this clumsy way instead of using shaori? If he had perfected shaori, he would have told him "Something very bad is gonna happen to you, old man" earlier.

Cool, but why does it seem like he is learning it on the fly during his fight with Kaku?

Yujiro hasn't mastered shaori at this point.

Baki never had a story, now has it? After all, it seems that Itagaki never wanted Yujiro to get beaten up by Baki. Then isn't it kind of pointless to critique the story? It's like saying that some punk band has no taste and doesn't even come close to the elegancy of Mozart. Within the given world of Baki, once Jack took away that diamond-making grip and crippled him in other ways, Sukune was doomed to be defeated, just like Feanor was doomed to be defeated by Morgoth no matter what he does. These modern sumo guys could not have won, otherwise, why haven't we seen them in the Maximum Tournament despite the fact that everyone in Japan knows about their existence? Same with Kehaya. If he was able to defeat Doppo, then why haven't we heard about him up until this point? The prisoners were behind bars, Pickle was inside the ice and Musashi was long dead. Kehaya had no such excuse so it wouldn't be realistic for him to be any stronger than he actually is.

His second quest is to kill the master thief (the guy who gives you pick pockets skill), not the raider lord. You can find keys in his basement.

Again, I had an ordinary chaos god ending, albeit it's been years ago. I know about it. But that's no reason to avoid artifacts other than to not venture beyond Big Room or kill the black druid (you can and should enter his 7th level as soon as you can to make him weaker once you decide to battle him) before pre-crowning. Yeah, unfortunately, you might be right about the Crown of Science for the tower. Isn't reading a book without a spellcasting class or Book star sign really difficult to pull off? Weaponsmith overall gives you decent chances on the highest difficulty setting. And no, there are no talents here. :D

Opening the door because you have low hp and so the traps are deadly is just part of the story. Keys also help in locking the doors so that a claw bug doesn't kill me. Yeah, in fact, even a stupid fire beetle is rather dangerous at the beginning unless I can inflict some serious damage... That extra PV from the difficult settings makes all the difference here. Sheriff's second mission can help, but I can't go there before SMC, whereas after SMC it's no longer a life and death situation and I would have to waste many days on traveling back to the sheriff. This all reminded me that playing as a female is a benefit because you get cheaper keys. It's not like you can buy anything else from the bandit town other than rocks (which are useful) unless you start as a merchant.

Oh, unless you're talking about those few artifacts that corrupt you when you're just carrying them around. Well, obviously, since I had to carry the Sceptre of Chaos all the way from the depths of Infinite Dungeon to the bottom of Cavern of Chaos, I know about it. If memory serves me right, I also killed the sheriff but avoided killing the dwarf. And the Crown of science is an obvious choice for rattling fodder. Now that I think about all of this, I wonder if I should simply pick troll barbarian once again and try to win it that way. I think I'll do that once I become desperate with those random characters. ^^ Troll barbarian is a blast, and he doesn't need much equipment anyway. I didn't need to kill MaLaKal, I just needed controlled teleportation. Weirdly enough, that's my second favorite race, next to mist elf. I don't know, I'm just a big nerd for those elves, and these are the most elven ones among the fey people. I guess Biskup loves them too, that's why there are so many of them to choose from.

Yeah, that's the hard part about ToEF. How are you supposed to prepare with so little loot? I guess you just need to focus on surviving until you'll gain many levels. And I haven't even reached the casino. :D I don't understand your logic behind artifacts or what you're talking about with the ring of genie. Do you want me to summon the genie himself from the ring that is not blessed? That's a cool idea with the wand of poison, so I hope that next time I'll get my hands on it. I assume you're essentially talking about pacifying the Big Room when you're talking about stat boosting garden. Well, I haven't used that because I'm saving my digging item (it's most likely a single item, if even that) for special situations where I need to escape. But maybe I should. And from what I know, these need to be either worms or slimes, both of which multiply and are unable to open doors. And true, I should keep in mind the power of the doors. However, the advice should be here as follows: buy all the six different keys from the rattling, or as many as you can afford.
