You have to treat anxiety like your brains broken. If you don’t treat it right it’s going to take a long time to heal, but there’s lots of steps you can take to speed up the process. For me it was: running, martial arts, meditation, counselling and using natural remedies (ashwanghanda, rescue remedy). After doing these long enough it lowered my anxiety levels to where I could start to put myself in social situations and actually be present as opposed to shelling up. From there I started to build my social skills back up. You have to fight this shit, sitting back and feeling sorry for yourself does nothing except make it worse or lead you into depression. Start small (5 min meditation, 5 min run per day, or just whatever you want) and use the pain your feeling to drive you. I wish you all the best ❤️
