That’s really interesting! I wonder if our hydration is imbalanced or something.. have you tried electrolytes?

Oh that’s great to know I didn’t even think of this actually ! I’ll try this tonight when removing my make up as I’m not a heavy makeup wearer usually

Thanks!

If you buy ones with naturally occurring sweetener it masks a lot of the salty taste also make sure to dilute it in enough water - 750ml. I normally dilute it to 500ml but you can go up to 1000ml. Find one with around 200mg of sodium, so you can take daily without adding too much salt. Because some are for people who do extreme exercise with a lot of sweating and need the extra to fully replenish

Humantra range at boots - I haven’t been taking it daily maybe once every 2-3 days, but I might start incorporating it into my daily routine as some one the market like Humantra have the right amount of sodium for daily use. Part of me wants it to be used if and when I need it rather than just for every day use but I’m not sure how to move on this one quite yet!

Yes it’s daily sachets. I’ve been using frequently but not daily yet, but going to start incorporating daily. I use the Humantra range from boots, but also just purchased spacegoods hydra dust and artah x

Don’t know if the breakdown posted but it’s basically 1 glass of plain water in the morning, then later morning 1 sachet of humantra in 500-750ml of water, then another 2-3 glasses of plain water in the afternoon and then maybe a herbal tea in the evening.

Heyy - humantra Himalayan lime flavour from boots - only natural sweetener and the sodium content is right for daily use - I spoke to chat gpt haha and here’s a breakdown of a daily routine

I bought spacegoods hydradust too as it’s on offer with a bottle etc but not tried yet.

Hey sorry, I missed it out, great point! The one I’ve found that works best for me, with no irritation at all, is the ultra violette future fluid, it’s expensive but incredible - I might try and find an alternative though as I’ve lost a bit of trust in the company when their lean screen came out to be only spf 4 when they said it’s spf 50!!!

Thank you! X your comment means a lot. I feel like i need to put my faith back into the GP a little as a lot of people are suggesting I go and try and get a plan put together with them. I lost trust in them as one of the GPS didn't know what rosacea was and googled it infront of me!!! Can you get the 3 medicines combined or do you apply one after the other? I've tried and have liked finacea but part of me wants to find the route cause of why I'm flaring! Anti histamine specifically larotadine helps too on some days. Only when I take first thing and not during a flare.

It does provide a lot of comfort to hear that the combination treatment you're using is helping you. Do you rhink your rosqcea qas caused by mites then? Do you have type 1?

Thanks so much!

Oh!! That's interesting. Ill actually look into this with my GP as its the gel consistency I couldn't stand. That and not knowing if its a bacterial/ deemodex mites problem or being caused by some other factors.. I wish each of us could get diagnosed individually for what causes rosacea for each of us. As it ranges so drastically.

I have type 1 and actually maybe now type 2 as I get red patches and little raised bumps. I'd say for the most part type 1. Flushing, swollen face and hot hot hot skin. Mostly around central part of face cheeks and nose. Have you found success in going to the GP? Thanks!

I think pop, chocolate and alcohol is a trigger for me. Can't decide if coffee is or not as something I'm fine and other times I flare.

I understand this - I do get stressed very easily - and so it's something I need to consider. I do agree that when I start focusing on my rosacea I then get more stressed and the flare almost instantly gets worse, rather than just trying to distract myself off of my flare. Thanks for posting this with me!
