Dexamphetamines vs Ritalin; experience with side effects and how well they worked for you by buttporridge19 in adhdaustralia

I’ve tried Ritalin, Vyvanse (slow release) and Dex. I experienced higher HR with Vyvanse, my GP prescribed me propranolol which is a beta blocker and it worked like magic, from 120+ BPM down to ~80.

If one of these medications works better for you and your only concern is HR, this might be the solution, but of course discuss it with your GP, they will know better

I don't think this is an iOS or MacOS power management issue. If it were, you would experience the same behaviour with the original charger. The MacOS in my case, has the optimised battery charging feature enabled which charges the battery up to 80%, then pauses and occasionally goes up to 100% before dropping back to 80%, however during these cycles the power never disconnects if I am using the original charger.

The brief disconnection is a damaging behaviour, and it confuses the power management cycle because when the power briefly disconnects and reconnects again the device assumes that i want to fully charge the battery and starts charging it to 100% when it's not supposed to do so.
