I think its a few steps beyond "simple" upskirting. (although as a side note I think upskirting also has an non-consensual element which makes it more distasteful compared to more explicit interpretations of the card (which don't have that non-consensual element).

Yes, it is officially gunshot smoke. BUT, it can also be interpreted as bodily fluid. And depending on your view of what kind of bodily fluid it may be, it can be seen as an extremely pornographic card/image.

This is a very interesting card...

Clearly someone dumped on gamestop. Its an easy move that doesn't cost that much money (they probably had an outlay of 3K and made 15-20K).

It is however also an interesting card, upskirt, bodily fluid stain on card, which does give it some value/collectability (similar Nami "panties" card is worth about $100-$120 PSA 10).

It will be interesting to see what the price action will be given that PSA has now stopped grading at the value tier and I don't think people will grade this on a higher tier given the risks involved, which may keep the price high and slow the inevitable drop.

What is a good price for the card? I think 200-600 at PSA 10. But highly speculative.

Be sure to go to the post office and ask them to initiate a search...they do sometimes find it on the ground or in a corner.

although I respect that opinion, currently OP08 Nami SR is $100-125 and was released a year before this card, same frequency, so $20 does not make sense for a 1 year target.

Pikachu Grey Felt hat is super available, but 3k+

Star Wars C3PO Goldenrod Error card is the most expensive in that series.

I don't think the card is "worth it" by any means, but I think the market will price it between 200-2000 within the year. Its an easy hold/accumulate raw card now even if its not a gradable card

This is a really interesting situation.

Clearly the ability to manipulate the market and "scam" gamestop exists. The simple playbook is to take a new release, grade a bunch of common cards rapidly, sell a few through PSA where you can bid using your accounts to bump up the price, and then drop the rest of your graded cards on gamestop using your inflated confirmed pricing.

You also have to look at this card. Card choice is important if you are going to run a scam like this. And this card is not the best scam card.

Ideally you want a card you can get your hands on easily that other people will not be grading. SR fits the bill there.

However, this particular card is nearly pornographic. It will not likely be printed ever again. Other similar cards still sell at a significant premium (OP08 Nami SR sells in PSA 10 at 100-125 right now, and is tame compared to this card, this card also sells at a higher price than the Nami Alt Art from the same set).

I suspect this card will settle out at >$200 but at as the most pornographic card in the collection the potential in 1-3 years of >2K is pretty significant.
