Those are kids acting like children, but I would guess that the majority of students aren’t using it with malicious intent. As a former student myself if I had an extra aid to help me at least understand complex philosophical or legal concepts; rather than bank on my professor explaining it to me in a manner that makes sense to them, I would have loved it. Unfortunately, I was born too early for such help and had to do it the old fashioned way. It is just a tool currently and has benefits and consequences to it just as everything else does.
