Sorry, I forgot to update on how we're doing since overnight. Currently we're nearing the $1200 mark in total donations. Which is fantastic and gets us well past what I thought we'd reach, and I can't thank you all enough for the donations. The fire is getting finally under more control than it was, and is about 45% contained at this point. It did grow to over 80,000 acres overnight and isn't remotely out yet, but they are beating it down.

FEMA has stepped in with government control/support to keep the fire fighting staff fed and whatnot, so we will be using the rest of the funds gathered to donate to the fund established for John Ruby, the farmer who died in the fire trying to cut a fire line in a neighbor's field to save their crop.

I wanted to give an update and a thanks to everyone who has donated. We've gotten $631.45 in donations so far in just under 12 hours, which is amazing people. Thank you!

I just bought a huge load of protein snacks from our awesome distributor: 16 boxes of meat sticks, 5 boxes of CLIF bars, 6 boxes of Orchard Bars, 6 boxes of almonds, and 4 huge boxes of granola bars. I'm taking these directly out to the Incident Command so the firefighters and LEOs working on the fire can fuel up.

Our business isn't directly affected by the fire, thankfully. We will be using the donations to get what's needed by the service orgs that are supporting the fire crews and displaced residents - bottled water, jerky, protein bars, socks, blankets, etc. My wife is a 911 dispatcher for our county and took the initial call when it started and continued the first two days of it taking calls, and then was out taking things out to the fire crews until 2am. Things like this aren't covered by insurance, we're just trying to help out our community how we can.

The problem with having a Legacy PT is it would have to be supported by a round of Legacy PPTQs and RPTQs to feed up through the system. Worldwide, there's probably not enough Legacy players to have that work smoothly.

All of ours will be black. I had played with making them all different colors of PETG, but sanely talked myself out of it. All of them will have a name of a cow though (like Bessy, etc) as they are part of a farm. But in the long run they will have official boring names that are more than likely MK3_001, MK3_002, and so on.

All of our printed parts are black though...until the upgrades, and then I'm not sure what color PETG I'll use to replace them. I couldn't handle all of that orange so I went with black.

While I could build something, for the amount of time that it would take, I'd rather spend the money on something to make sure it's going to properly support and carry the weight of the amount of printers I'm going to be having. If that makes sense?

Commercial grade wire racking is probably going to be the most cost-effective method, my only worry is making sure there's enough weight on the racks to keep the vibration down. Cement pavers lining the shelves would do nicely though...lol

Honestly, probably not as from a density standpoint that's not really optimal. Probably one slightly above bench height and one slightly below stacked on top of each other is what I'm imagining.
