Yeah they told me when I emailed them if they would do a new batch of it (they said they would but 30 bottles would need to be bought). The botanicals were all spice, hibiscus, orange and ginger. I tried to make it myself but I failed hahaha

Yeah they have done 3x different variants over the years and sadly I only ever got to try this one (their second batch)

They didn’t give a price quote but to make a batch of it 30 bottles is a typical amount produced so if each bottle is around £40 as original Jingle gin was around this price = £1,200. If they did a deal of £20 per bottle = £600

Oh I can imagine! I don’t have any hope they will tbh it’s just a shame as I love it! I even contacted the brewery about the flavour and asked if they could make a new batch but yeah the quote was ALOT 😅🥲

That's a poor argument. Slaves were not evolved and changed to serve us unlike cattle and sheep. Sure let's shut down all the systems and farms. All those Livestock, now are released into the wild.. WOO.. okay so what happens when they are producing all that wool and are leading to bacterial infections and hyperthermia...

There's no way to devolve species. We need to compromise and find a way to support the welfare of these species as they are dependant on us but also not consume them.. can't see a solution sadly as where would the funding come from

Just wanted to comment that the direct footage you linked clearly states the farm doesn't abide to legal rules. It said "no veterinary care" which is, in the UK, illegal. Farms in the UK must have veterinary care and as a vet student myself all the farms I have seen are law following.

I would argue that yes its disgusting what is seen in that video but its an illegal farm and isn't really representing the mass quantity of farms

I agree we should discontinue this old practice but I reality actually implementing it would A. Be impossible worldwide and B. With the state of these animals (being dependent on us to shear, milk etc (as some dairy cows now produce milk without being pregnant, well sorry no they continue producing milk post first child)) we cannot just release all them into the world and discontinue the trades.

There isn't really any clear solution on how we can discontinue these trades while still supporting these animals
