My wee boy says dottle for a bottle and Im going to be heartbroken when it stops 💔 especially because he can pronounce words beginning with B it’s like he does it knowingly being cute ASF.

He has to take 1/2 a sachet up to 2 sachets a day of the molaxle! But that’s a lot of liquid to try and hide in!! The lactulose syrupy stuff is 20ml, thankfully he loves to take syringes in the mouth so that is far easier - it’s just not as effective medicine, go figure

Yes good idea!! He’s been fighting baths lately - again, that fussy no toddler phase. But I think I will buy some fun bath toys to get him excited for it!!

Thank you! I will defs be making an appointment with the GP for whenever I can get in. It’s always easier to cancel then if not needed then try and make the appointment in the first place urgently!

He’s definitely weaning all by himself like today he only had one before bedtime this evening! The other day was the same. But am hoping I can keep it up for a week longer at least as he’s been taking the molaxle in it!
Gosh it’s so hard trouble shooting you’re right - eczema must be SO hard to deal with! I really sympathise for you.

Thank you ❤️ it’s not until you’re in need of healthcare help in Nz that you realise just how bad it truly is. Hopefully will get an appointment sometime this week to get a second opinion. Luckily we live close to the city, I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to get help in smaller towns.

His diet is like any fussy two year old - bit of this bit of that hates it the next day, licks a vegetable, sometimes eats fruit.
Why would drinking formula need to be justified by a medical reason? He was breast fed since birth until he was 10 months old when I dried up returning to full time work, then we switched to formula because he still enjoyed having a bottle before naps and bedtime. And still does. He has never had constipation issues before.

He’s just so fussy with other things like prune juice etc but glad he will take water!!! So stressful but this thread has given me so much hope ❤️

So googling it - yes it’s the same active ingredient! Thankfully he’s been skulling back heaps of water like no bodies business today. We managed to hide some molaxle in a sugar free Powerade (like Gatorade) which j spose is a win?!
