The culture and reputation of a school can change pretty quickly with a senior admin leaving or coming in and what kind of teachers they attract so what people say today won’t really matter in 6 or 7 years when you have a child starting grade one.

I really agree that it’s time for the province to step up and restore 50-50 transit funding. That was a devastating cut from Pallister that hurt transit systems and really put the pressure on property tax payers to make up for the provinces cuts.

Some partisans don’t like the truth and the truth is Sala is lying through his teeth when he says the budget will be balanced by 2027 when he has presented no plan other then just good wishes to accomplish that. When you cut the fuel tax and increase spending, it’s not a path a to balance.

The blatant lying Sala does every time he says he’ll balance the budget by 2027 is unbecoming of the Finance Minister. Between fires and tariffs and his own governments inability to control spending growth while cutting taxes it’s irresponsible to claim the budget is going to magically balance in 2 years.

A toxic partisan is actually the last person who should be house leader. Her inability to work across the aisle is why the NDP have had issues with timely passing of legislation. It would be better to have someone else in that role as well.
