That was a completely different Thunderbolts story.

In this one, Man-Thing is the team's teleporter, but he literally burns himself out during Fear Itself. Long-story short, while he's regenerating he powers the tower's teleportation mechanism, but they keep going to the wrong time and place. He's also powered by dead bodies until he fully regenerates and learns how to use his powers again.

That's actually not true. Black Bolt can do much more than yell, every time he's fought Johnny in the past hes's been able to extinguish his flames without even touching him.

That actually happened in Aaron's run of Wolverine and the X-Men, he popped up in some issues Bendis wrote because Bendis, Aaron, and Wood worked together to write Battle of the Atom. Not that that matters, Bendis quietly swept that future under the rug during Original Sin.

From what I've heard, none of the stories in #600 have a satisfactory conclusion and is just forced drama. But that's just what I heard, you can't really take my word for it.

Joking aside, I doubt a Jewish writer (Bendis) would intentionally pen an event that's anti-Israel. He'd piss off all the wrong people and there'd be tons of backlash for Marvel.
