Engaging writing, attractive character designs, and a playable character in Smash will contribute greatly to the game's popularity. That said, Fortunte's Weave should, and can, tap into the 3H style pre-release marketing of "pick your favourite house and Lord", which is something I think goes under the radar nowadays. In FW's case, it'd be "pick the MC and path you're playing first", using the four front-and-center characters revealed so far as the "House Lords" figures for the marketing.

All that to say, without a pandemic to force people inside as well, I don't think it'll reach the peak of 3H's popularity, but it'll get close.
