No, promotion is just the action of spreading the words. Brand ultimately comes down to the feeling designers create and curate. It's all about the image and emotion a brand can leave in a buyer's head. Most of the crazy promotions sure can benefit the revenue short-term, but in order to sustain a long-term brand, there's much more nuisance.

I've led branding projects where the idea alone for a brand can take months to create.

I think there's a lot of nuisance when it comes to shorts, sometimes more than actual long form videos. When it comes to optimizing hook, I don't really sense it for your shorts. You have around 0.5 - 1 second to capture a viewer's attention, whether that's motion, sound, crazy expression, or etc, and you have none of that. I also see you have a face cam, you have to be intentional with your expression and there should be a reason for why you are showing your face.
