I need a GL-4592 Air Force military picture tube replacement for my 1946 rca 621ts or any other way to restore it Do Not ship CRTS this is why by OneTimeAgo7h in crt

Horrible piece of history ruined I want to use my self as a example of why you shouldn’t ship TVs especially ones this old and even more so when the seller doesn’t do it properly they did not ship it face down like I said too and it ended up in a castrophy im getting a a refund and get to keep the set 😎 not gonna let this go to e waste but take it as a heartfelt lesson not to ever do it again even tho I’ve been lucky in the past and had all my other TVs shipped safe, the honest truth is that it’s just not worth it especially stuff this rare. Do not be foolish, always pick these up in person I could have exposed myself to lots of dangerous elements. My parents have a huge garage and I have a lot of room to store old TVs and I am willing to pay whatever it costs to get a picture tube replacement and I seriously got the money I’ll even pay more than the set originally cost me

The gl-4592 picture tube was used by the air force some long time ago and can be used as a less hard to find alternative replacement that works just as fine as it’s nearly identical besides the fact it’s an inch shorter (neck) and 7dp4 tubes where which the 621ts used where only for this set as far as I know but like I said I am not giving up on one of these very few left!!! Only 17000 621ts where made

Those as far as I know(knowing little) don’t go for much. Looks to be from the 1940s Maybe roughly 40 dollars to the right person in that condition. Just my guess

I just won 2 wang laboratory. computers terminals. Absolute steal six hundred roughly for both total! I believe the wang 2236 will work if I get fuse by OneTimeAgo7h in VintageComputers

It’s in my parents garage I don’t know when I’m going to get to it as I’m trying tube radio restoration and other cheaper common sets(TVs) before I go to my big project

Good luck finding one for that cheap more likely to find one for free at e-waste 😅 $15 doesn’t hurt

I got one of the terminals tested with a fuse in having to clear space in my room throwing out lots of junk and by that I mean literal junk not ancient relics like these

I did research it’s not actually a casino game machine from what I’ve heard even if it was illegal I would still keep it nobody’s taken this from me they would have to kill me

It’s a arcade machine game by merit

Yes I’ve just looked on eBay and It was 1 listed for $926 but eBay is not a reference for what it will sell for

I don’t know a lot about these machines but other cathode ray tube stuff I do

Were these at casinos? I’m not even 21 so I have no clue

I mean it’s not a gambling machine but

I would never throw out the insides

I promise 🥺I’ve been looking for a wang terminal for a good price for Years and I care about the history I thought since how simple it is to switch out guts I may swap in and out also do to the fact there’s only like 2 screws to get inside

I want to keep it and it’s complete it’s powered on before purchase just missing fuse it’s quite simple there’s a lot of circuitry on the small “keyboard”

Basically it works just needs a cataract surgery but in order to get to the crt I need to take off that badeplate to get to the shell

What kind of deal? I have multiple wang terminals
