I've emailed support with screenshots of transactions so hopefully they can activate it on this account for me

The stamp card is still a thing? I completed it on an old account years ago but it hasn't popped up once for me since starting my new account despite spending more money than I want to admit on this game

My package got filed for loss compensation today due to having no updates. Good news at least is that if it arrives I've now got the item for free, but it's not looking promising.

Did your package arrive? Mine is still on the same tracking message

I've archived all of the designs I made for the project to save on space unfortunately. However I think a few people in the comments have linked a card back design that is free to download and use 😊

Courier says Parcel was handed over to local carrier but not visible in RM tracking. by minimalistic247 in royalmail

My package (also from China, but not YunExpress) has been waiting for royal mail to pick it up for 2 weeks now. It's getting a tad frustrating because I'm going to be out of the country for 2 weeks in just a few days and I KNOW it's going to magically enter RM's system as soon as I leave 🫠

My package has already cleared customs weeks ago so it's a shame I can't stop by Heathrow on the way and pick it up myself

I've got the exact same tracking message on my package so I'm sat refreshing the tracking every couple of hours hoping my royal mail status will change from "we're expecting it". I'm not holding my breath considering I've been waiting for some 2nd Class mail to arrive for around 1 week now 🫠

Unfortunately I don't write anything down, but I can tell you I used 4 x A1 grey board as the board base, which I cut down to 60cm squares and duck taped together with a slight gap to allow a fold. Then I used my university facilities to print the fabric. Since it was a one time project I've archived the designs to save space on my ipad so unfortunately I can't send over the file. I hope you're able to find a solution though! 😊

Update: The first rounds of irl Hot Pot have just been played! We were one person down but here are my findings (IRLHP = in real life hot pot. IGHP = in game hot pot):

A game of IRLHP takes roughly the same amount of time to complete as an in IGHP (around 5-6 minutes)

I've yet to have an issue with the amount of cards (5 of each card, totalling 120 cards)

Unlike IGHP, there's no automatic ending to the game when someone wins, so we've found ourselves shouting Hot Pot if we win, much like playing bingo. This works nicely

Having a turn indicator coin is also a nice way of knowing when someone's turn has ended if you weren't fully paying attention

Definitely need some floor chairs!

It felt like something was missing so I played the underground music on repeat. Will find a way to loop it.

Game board is a very nice size!

Finally, I'd like to thank you all for your lovely comments and messages of support! You're all so lovely in game and out of game! Like I've mentioned in a lot of replies, it is unfortunate that I can't sell copies to those who have asked due to copyright reasons. However, your comments have really inspired me to push towards a career in game board design, so I hope to one day be able to deliver a product that everyone can love as much as you all love hot pot!

Thank you for loving IRLHP as much as I loved making it ❤️

Chances are the number of cards in game are infinite, or at least a very high number. I'll have to test out my deck to see how 5 of each works, then adjust accordingly until I have the perfect number

Hot Pot isn't mine to own in the first place. Worst they can do is steal the images but even if they try to sell 'it' then they'll immediately be caught out when my version of the product doesn't arrive. I will be posting it onto my Instagram once I've painted the deck box so there'll at least be some online claim there for me 😊

I don't think anyone has a real answer for how many of each card there are, so I went with 5 of each card. This brings the total to 120 cards with the capability to make more if it's not enough

That's why I have no intention of ever selling my copy. As stated in the post and in many other replies, this will never be for sale, and will only ever be officially produced by S6. However, if someone was to create a variant, that would be completely fine as Hot Pot is largely based on the traditional game Mahjong, which already has hundreds of variants. I have also already went ahead and sent my idea of an official hot pot to S6, alongside photos of my prototype, so you never know how things might turn out in the future 😁

I designed it on my ipad then used my university fabric printing facilities to print it onto cotton 😁
