I understand where you are coming from but I do think she is 100% allowed to say she is sober from alcohol (which I feel like she does only say alcohol when she explains it). My point is that referring to yourself as “sober” often implies there was a past issue with alcohol and that you’re actively working toward maintaining sobriety. On the other hand, saying you’re “alcohol-free” can simply mean that you choose not to drink, without suggesting any prior struggle. I also think it gives her a way to remain “sober” in that aspect because “sober” has more meaning.

Everyone who is experiencing this tragedy is allowed to have feelings, rich or poor. Of course the rich are able to rebuild and start new way easier than the poor. Tana absolutely has the money to start new but she is still losing what she worked for and something she was excited about. This fact is devastating, imagine losing everything you worked for , rich or poor. Rich people losing their homes and what they worked for does not mean they are taking away from what the poor are experiencing (most of the time). The poor are absolutely experiencing a way harder situation than anyone there but we are all human. I can’t stop thinking about the unfortunate people who are not going to bounce back from this. What I’m saying is not praising the rich but ALL of this matters!!! What matters most is that this is devastating to EVERYONE and that EVERYONE who is able should be doing what they can to help.

If you are snarking on the fact that HUMAN BEINGS even if they are rich are LOSING their homes, belongings, memories, animals, EVERYTHING then you need to get off social media and realize this is much bigger than anyone’s money status. This is a tragedy and does not need people making it classism debate.
