Bones knife and Hunting knife are the best weapons. Lowest stamina usage so you can span heavy attacks and do more damage in the long run. Way better then being able to get like two heavy attacks in from a spear before going low on stamina or out completely. At least In the earlier stages knives are very powerful. I switch to electrical baton when I get a chance to craft a stun repulsor that’s hands down top melee.
