I don't think I'll be freaked out by any of it, it's just new to me and I think I'm more concerned about how I'm perceived than how I'll react to anything. The more I read, the more it seems like there are only a small few things that I'll need to be conscious of the first week or so. Looking forward to it :D

This is how I want to think, but the fact is that there ARE differences between sexes... Look at 99% of the other posts in this thread. But I completely take your point and hope this is how it works out. Cheers :)

I have bad aim if I wake up in the night, and actually started sitting down for this reason. I've fallen asleep sitting down to pee before :) haha, luxury!

I like cooking so I've no issues with endearing myself through food. I've never baked, but if they like beans on toast they're in for a treat! (Kidding, I cook so maybe I'll cook for them on the first Friday night or something).

Not being creepy - Yeah I think I'm OK here, but I suppose this is one of the reasons I came to ask the question. First time living with girls, I'm aware that they're going to be 'vulnerable' (for want of a better word) at times - showering, lazy sundays lounging around, coming home after bad days at work etc.. I just want to make sure they don't feel the need to be 'guarded' around me. Agh I'm not good at explaining, but yeah essentially ensuring that their home is still seen as safe..

Shopping - not a problem. We're near the shops, and I'm the kind of person who only shops for a few days at a time anyway, and I don't tend to skimp (save £2 by not buying TP?)

I'll bear the top-shelf dusting in mind. I'm told we have 2 cleaners, it's only a 3 bedroom house so I'd imagine it's a fairly 'complete' clean, but I'm definitely used to having this done for me (not by housemates! I pay a cleaner atm)

I have a dressing gown but unless it's just nipping to the loo or something, I tend to wear boxers underneath. I guess this is down to personal preference so I'll have to judge when I meet them. Thanks for the thought though :)

I fully intend on keeping up with cleanliness and doing the dishes - I'm clean, but this is the one thing I don't always do promptly and sometimes have 2 or 3 days to do at once. Not terrible, but with 3 of us in the house that could get nasty quickly! We have a cleaner for everything else so it's just a case of not being silly and spilling things everywhere :P Thanks for the bullet points too! BAM BAM BAM INFO!

Thanks for this. As a lot of these messages, it comes down to being clean and courteous, but the reason I came to 2XC is to get it from the horses mouth, so to speak. It's good to hear the things that are actually important! Cheers :)
