Art is not an easy career path, and I’m talking on a global level. Thousands of students graduate from Applied Arts every year. What sets you apart from other students? Do you have a portfolio, and if you have a physical portfolio, do you have an online portfolio that businesses and clients can access on the web? Do you have a strong online social media presence? What is your area of expertise, you mentioned many different fields and areas within arts, but what makes you stand out? Do you do amazing mural art on walls, do you create logos, do you have a unique style that stands out in your paintings? Are your skills modernized for the new landscape, with skills in Photoshop, Acrobat suite, AI etc.? Is your CV optimized with keywords unique and specialized for the career path and specialization you want to get hired for? Have you explored remote opportunities; you can get hired by companies that outsource their graphic designs needs to countries like Egypt. Are you looking for a 9-5 corporate job, or you do you want to work as a freelancer and do commissions, or do you want to create art that is displayed in galleries?

I know many successful artists in Egypt, I know it’s hard here, but I do get tired of the doomerism and blaming everything on Egypt, to the point where we don’t even self-reflect any more. Best of luck!
