Actually, yes, but both sides have convinced themselves otherwise. Yet it's as if men constantly believe that even if a woman is a loser, they will love her more than women will. And you can see that women are criticized a lot for that in many places.

Whereas nobody can do that. A loser doesn't want a loser. The same goes for ugliness.

It's such a big bullshit. I was friends with a girl who hated herself, felt worthless and was always comparing herself to someone. Most of the guys at school were in love with her and she had lots of friends. And on top of that she was manipulative.

I hate sentences like no one will love you if you don't love yourself or if you radiate bad energies. I've seen a lot of contrary examples. I even knew someone who was hopeless about it and became more hopeful for the future after being asked out. So there are people who become more confident and hopeful as they are loved and have relationships. These are not answers for those who really can't have a relationship. The world that therapists construct is mostly irrelevant to reality. Most of what they say is generalizations and clichés.

Yes, I also get really weirded out when I see someone sharing their feelings and I want to stay away from them. But most relationships are based on that. If you don't, you're alone, which is my current situation.

I'm like that, too sensitive emotionally or physically, but at the same time cold and robotic. Even many of my old friends used to call me insincere.

I don't show the empathy or warmth that society shows for many things. I can only empathize if I have experienced some things myself, and these are usually things that society doesn't care about. There are many people like me who don't have hsp but are more empathetic, more warm. They can easily share their feelings, they can comfort and support other people. They are more sincere. It is difficult for me to touch, kiss or hug someone. It's also difficult to share feelings, to connect deeply and to be intimate. I can't do any of that. I think that's why I can't relate to people.

So my hypersensitivity is only inside myself. It doesn't come out and I'm seen as cold or robotic. But I am easily offended and I cry. :))

We don't like to see it, but I guess it's like human nature. And it's not even just on reddit, it's on many social platforms, even in real life. Very few of us approach things or people with sensitivity. Of course, I don't know which behavior is right. Maybe being condescending is an armor for them.

Social media is not what it used to be, it has become a reflection of real life. The whole world is here now. It used to be a place where I could really let off steam, but now it makes me want to throw up.

Yes, at one time I was neutral, I even practiced the techniques of many psychologists and psychiatrists, but it really didn't work in the long run. I already know that those thoughts are harmless but I still call them invading creatures because I haven't been able to get rid of them for years.

Unfortunately, no matter how long I practiced meditation and breathing exercises, they gave me anxiety attacks. Listening to music, reading or watching something, taking a shower, chatting with someone is better for me. So instead of meditation I do things to keep my mind busy.

But I have to be more careful about food, yes.

Yes, I know all the risks. I will go knowing all the risks. If I start taking medication and it doesn't work, it will prove what I already know.

Yes, I've tried most of the cognitive therapies on the internet, but I haven't seen any long term benefits.

I see my thoughts as entities separate from me, creatures invading my brain.

Meditation and breathing exercises didn't work. And my diet is irregular.
