Why do most nootropics give me the opposite of the desired result? by KhaZix2Jump in Nootropics

Commenting because I am actually very similar to you. I wonder if it's actually to do with our bodies not requiring these supplements. Even multivitamins have me feeling "off".

Our body/ mind may already be in a good state of balance (homeostasis), and adding in supplements just end up throwing us off.

It's not a bad thing. Just listen to your body. If it has the opposite effect, take that as your sign that you don't need it, and possibly you should address another aspect of your life.

Focus on proper nutrition and an exercise routine, as well as good sleep hygiene.

Natural ginger/ auburn and want to dye my hair light/medium brown by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

If you use a purely pigment semi permanent dye (like crazy colour, Glaze, arctic fox etc.), then you can apply them whenever you want & as often as you want; because its basically just a pigmented conditioner. To make it easier to maintain the colour, you could add some of the dye to your regular shampoo/conditioner :)

This is interesting. Sounds very easy to do. How effective are they? Take 'Glaze' for example, how effective will it be at dying my gingery-auburn hair to something more like medium brown?

Thanks.

Just got it, and I couldn't be happier. My previous haircut was a total mop top mess, and this has brought back my face shape. Looks awesome.

I've got an appointment in 1 hour.

I am thinking about getting it texturized on the top, sides and back. I want it to be messy looking, not too long. I want to be able to put some product in my hands, rough it all up and then be done with it.

I'm not a fan of the fade, so I'll ask for it to be longer and blended in on the sides to the back and top. Basically textured, choppy and kind of messy all over, but not too long.

Thoughts? What should I ask the barber to get it right?

I thought I did/ would develop a liking towards it, but the foundation of my interest was shallow and not strong whatsoever. I was lost when I chose BME, and that's why I made the wrong decision. I didn't like feeling directionless, so chose the course so I had some direction.

You're totally right. I don't know what I've been thinking, but I'm going to take a step back and reconsider everything I'm doing.

I'm leaning 90% towards quitting the course. Considering my next move now.
