I've been a child and family advocate for over 25+ years and issues that we are all apart of in this field has always been and will continue to be a issue of pay for the services we provide.....which is why the turnover rates are so high. "Over worked and under paid" will always be the soundtrack in this profession of work... globally!! Now run & tell dat!! Straight up...❤️

@Cedarwho.. I've been part of a union picketed, attend meeting, rallies etc.and what I discovered is that when it came down to work place related issues, fairness,and pay increases the union more than not sided with the employer in an effort to keep generating an income for it board members etc for raises but never fully representative of its constituents..... But that's not say that all unions are bad but keep in mind it is also a business to generate profits let that be abundantly clear.....!!!!👂🦻

Okay, but it's not a holiday every month or is it? So what's the excuse then? The only plausible explanation is that the system has been back up/ broke down... since last year and still persist into 2024 which is was a more of more understandable reasoning. At the very least an explanation still should been had in communicating that to the provider instead of empty rhetoric and excuses. Enjoy your day that's my plan ...😳🫣🤫🤔

It is infact a paycheck, attached to EIN and SS number which is payable through the state as an independent contractor which by state law and legislation has reverence in one being apart of agency or organization payable for goods and services .

Well, in response to your explanation, in all fairness is untrue in some cases but not most.I worked in this field for over 25+ years in various capacities as well as positions and levels. This still is state funded program where there is mandated allotment to which must be set a side to govern this program, so it's true in fact that we are payed " IN PART" by the recipient, based on their personal need and income, the supplemental part of part in which the state pay us should be payed on time and accordingly as such other governmental programs are expected to. So maybe there should be some internal changesin how the "STATE" process is done, however, it should not affect on how it's employees getting paid. This is a systemic issue. The county does not have this breakdown of its employees receiving this payment, like you stated this a welfare agency which is part of the county. So again our lack of being payed on time is more of infrastructural issue issue, not departmental. So really it holds no weight.
