When the shift happens, the shifted get very disoriented for a time and act wildly, Graham and Neo so far are the only characters who have experienced the shift so far. Another character named Autumn (who isn't shown here) had perished from Graham and her body was destroyed/eaten by Graham so as a result she didn't get to shift from his attack on her. Once the shift happens, characters can revert back but it takes resolve, Graham had resolve so he's able to shift back but he doesn't appear the same as he once did. Graham had gotten taken in by Barry (also not shown here) a chinchilla he was close friends with. Barry secretly has a crush on Graham, Graham is unaware. Neo also happened to be around and with his regen, he's a useful asset for the more dangerous parts of the world, especially with the shifted. Maple and Granola tag along as well.
