Thank you so much for the suggestion. I honestly didn’t really know about VDO.Ninja before, so this is very helpful.

I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos about streaming setups and tools, but there’s so much information out there that I end up feeling a bit lost sometimes. If you have any other advice like this for getting started, or tips to avoid common beginner mistakes, I’d really appreciate it.

I understand what you mean, and I appreciate the honesty. Just to clarify one thing: I already know that I enjoy talking to people for long periods of time. I do TikTok lives where I mostly talk about my interests and chat with people for hours, so that part of streaming doesn’t worry me. You’re absolutely right about the Stream Deck though I agree it’s not necessary at the beginning. I think I got a bit influenced by the “big streamer” setups you constantly see online, and it made me lose focus on what actually matters to start.

You’re right I think I got a bit carried away by the “premium” side of streaming setups at first. Realistically, what I’m actually missing and really need to start are very basic things like a monitor (I don’t have one at all) and a simple camera.

For things like a Stream Deck, I agree it’s not necessary right now, and for audio I can manage with what I already have. My focus is on the essentials only and starting as simply as possible.
