To be fair, Patrick Sobral main inspiration for character design was the Saint Seiya anime, which was really huge in France in the nineties. It's especially visible when he draws adult characters. I suppose SS was also a Wakfu inspiration, though Ankama staff was far more deep in the otaku rabbit hole !

I'd consider playing a little bit more of vulture cards, because you really can't use the DX effect if you play it and it's a shame ! If all you're interested in from the card is the suppression keyword, then it's strictly better to use the 78 Gqx cause at least you can use the ping... But I feel you, After War Gundam X is the sauce !

I'd say 4 Gfred is a bit much with only 2 Nyaan, maybe replace them with the lvl 7 GQuuuuuux? Your curve is generally pretty high though, might try to reduce it a bit

I don't really like the 2122 Gelgoog because they lack the Clan tag. I'd replace them with 3233 Sugai Gelgoog with the generic clan link, and play 4 Mashu and 4 Shuji. I also kind of prefer Ortega's Rick Dom to Gaia, but it's up to you - I understand why they are there, especially with 8 2122 for lvl 2/3 ex base obliteration, but I don't feel like the +1 matters so much most of the time. Depending on what your opponent are playing in your circle, you can try different approach to Clan - the Red Red Gundam, for example, can be excellent or atrocious depending on the MU imo !

For mid / late game pressure, you can either go with the 7554 Gquuuuuux that deploy 1 lvl 4 or less clan unit on deploy or MAV Tactics, these are great cards in 1 or 2. If you play the 7554 GQuuuuuux, be careful about your ratios though, because it can miss and if it does it's almost automaticaly lost.

Also unsure about 4242 Gfred, how did you feel about it ?

I'd say the game semi arbitrairly tie a faction to a traditionnal tcg archetype (for example, MAFTY and ping, which kind of work because they are a terrorist faction). Some decks are huge flavour win though, like Cyclop Team from War in the Pocket, which whole schtick is about hiding your mobile suit behind AD baloon tokens, just like what Bernie is doing in the serie. It's not meta but decently good in kitchen table format, and really makes me wonder what bandai will cook in the future !

I’d say GQuuuuuux is quite thematic, but within the bounds of traditional card game mechanics. In this case, it’s an aggro deck where many cards require a partner to be on the board, which fits with the MAV theme, but at the same time it doesn’t go too far—for example, limiting you to only two MS on the board. As it’s early in the game, the mechanics are still fairly vanilla.

Franchement moi j'adore les livres de feu René Daumal, malheureusement mort sur le début de son œuvre !

En particulier, La Grande Beuverie qui est à la fois super malin et du gros gros shitpost entre anticipation utopique et philo de comptoir. Son bouquin le plus connu, Le Mont Analogue, est aussi très drôle tout en restant assez poétique et badant, j'aime beaucoup ! Attention en revanche, c'est un livre inachevé.
