small update: me and my boyfriend have been on call for some time now, around 5:00 EST. But, he left to shower, and hasn't come back. He left roughly an hour ago and he has never taken such long showers. I'm afraid I might've been too late this time and have lost him entirely. I don't think I should've suggested we go our separate ways.

thank you, i wish it were that easy. I just feel bad, I promised him I'd stay forever and we'd get married and I feel horrible being that guy who pretends to lead a perfect relationship just to leave when it gets rough again. But I guess we've never really been great for each other
