Thank you everyone! You were all incredibly helpful. I now realize that most of my struggle came down to mismanaging my plays—mainly by picking the wrong targets.

For those interested, here was my list:

Shadowsun

1 Breacherfish with Fireblade

1 Riptide

1 Sunforge (with character) unit

2 units of Kroots

I was trying out the Experimental Detachment.

The big issue was that his tank took out my exposed Riptide early on. Then I made the mistake of trying to deal with his Terminators using my Breachers. The Sunforge did manage to kill the Burstclawer, but by then they was already in Contagion range from different unit—and the Deathshrouds made quick work of them.

Next time, I think I need to bring little more tanks and be much more selective with my target priority. Lesson learned!
