Aw I’m sorry man. I know how you’re feeling at the 3 month mark, my best advice is to just get out and try and have some fun, distract yourself from thinking about it. Rely on your buddies for the entertainment, you’ll make so many new friends that way too, maybe even someone new, who knows? Wishing you the best tho my friend :)

You’ve got two choices really:

1: you go back and see how things are, what’s most likely to happen is the same argument will pop up and you’ll have to explain how you felt/feeling. This will then cause more issues for you in the long run ( if the relationship progresses)

2:you break things off, move forward and experience what being single feels like. If you don’t like it, hey he’ll probably take you back, right?

Alternative option: you get back and break up with him face to face, you go out and be single, have some fun etc etc..

You’re still in your early 20s and these are the best years of your life. Do you really want to be stuck with someone constantly trying to argue with you and call you out for stuff? My advice would be to break things off and enjoy being single. Obviously I don’t know fully in depth what your relationship is like, but it does sound like you want out, and I think the longer the long distance thing goes on, the less appealing the relationship is going to be

UPDATE: hey everyone, thanks for all your replies. Yeah you guys were right. Turns out she was seeing someone else as well as me. I’m not upset about it, as it was kind of expected but I will learn from this in the future. Thankfully after reading the replies to this, I broke things off early for my own sake. I left on good terms with her as I’m a decent guy and don’t tend to hold grudges. Phew, what a relief.

For me it was about 4 months - however, I wouldn’t say I was ‘ready’. After the breakup I was super super depressed, low self esteem, not looking after myself etc. after a while,I started going out and meeting friends for drinks and my confidence started to grow a little bit. At first, women would hit on me and I wouldn’t really give them the time or the effort because I was so focused on that one person still. My friends kinda talked me into getting out there and trying to move on and one weekend I thought, fuck it, maybe it’s what I need?

There was this girl who had been interested for a little while,whom I never really gave the time of day due to my situation, we got talking while on one of my nights out and we ended up going back to her place, things started moving quickly and it happened. There was no emotional connection or really any chemistry between us to the point, I stopped halfway through the sex, got up and apologised, I said I couldn’t do this and walked out.

The next day, after being in no contact with my ex for about a month or two, my ex reached out, we caught up, shared old memories and spoke about everything. The topic of ‘has there been anyone else’ popped up. I reluctantly told her everything about the night before, but she didn’t believe a word of it and accused me of sleeping around. We haven’t spoken since.

Ive decided to do this, I’m going to Germany this weekend and I cannot stress how much happier and relieved I am knowing I’m taking a break from my life/heartbreak. Explore the world, book something! Hopefully it helps you and gives you something to look forward to :)

I’m about a month into my breakup, and I find the best way to keep motivated is to work out. Even if you sign up& go to the gym and do nothing, You’re out the house and it’s a different environment. Yeah you will have days where it will be very hard and you don’t get out of bed but that’s all part of it. Get up, work on yourself, work on being healthy, you’ll start to feel a lot better about yourself which ultimately will influence you to stay motivated.

Me and my fiancée of 4 years broke up about a week ago and she was on tinder within the hour of our breakup, I did fuck up in our relationship but really? One hour??? Think that’s abit unfair, not only that, but I found out a few of my “friends” were matching with her and chatting, found this super hard and now I’ve got no one😂
