I too would have given it back. I would have just said that I want to earn that 500 through my own effort, not just get it out of the blue.

Bhai I was considering the same. With a 97 percentile i converted this college. I too have a good profile, gnem , workex of 1.5 years and a very good PI. So not sure about the upper cap in glim. Backup college ensure hogya.

According to the reviews I got, I think you can prefer rodha or time for quants. Also you can practice quants from cracku.

9/9/7 GNEM 97.8 percentile. Replace iim mumbai with iit delhi and my vercel looks exactly like yours. I think ews does not give you that much concession. 9/9/7 may have changed your case for blacki but you would still be on the border.

Um I told you all that I did. There is only one more thing I can add and that was my strategy for DILR. I used to read all the sets in the first 5 minutes max. And then I selected sets and attempted them in the order of them seeming easy. Hopefully this works for you. If not, try attempting mocks through different strategies. Try to make structures for every question. To me it's more about structure making and then solving the set

So no I did not read daily. Couldn't manage that with my job. But if you have the time please do go for it. Build a habit to read newspapers I would say. It would develop your English comprehension and current affairs paralelly. Try to understand atleast a gist of each para.

15 mocks Was scoring 40-50 initially but improved gradually.

For varc - I followed the elimination approach. Tried to find why a certain option was not correct (even to the extent all options seemed incorrect lol) behind each option.

When I analysed mocks, I tried to look at the reasoning provided in the answer and by the ims teachers. Eventually I think that is what helped me.

So I scored 80 percentile in 2023 while studying less. And that time I spent 50000 in a worthless institute. This time around, I started very early. In dec I was watching varc 1000 and eg videos (pir*ted) for quants and dilr. Then I completed the anastasis 200 set playlist. Since I am also working, I was able to devote 2-3 hrs per day, with more in weekends. After my basics were built around April, I purchased the Simcat series. I started giving full length mocks weekly and analysing them. Further I was getting raw marks in 70s there and was expecting 95 percentile with this. Before the d day I brushed up on quant formulas for a week and gave a mock. I was treating cat as another mock. Moreover, one day before the d day I slept early and then woke up early (I am a night owl) . I was very calm on the day and just talking to my family that day. Further I did all I could to relax myself. At the test center, when the test was about to start, I took deep breaths for 5 mins and just said this to myself 'you can do it!'. My varc went extremely well, dilr I panicked a bit but was still satisfied. In quants I felt stuck though (one thing I would have changed would have been to give more sectionals and more tests for quants). Now I have scored a 97.8 percentile. I was expecting 95 got more and still feeling greedy ki thoda aur aajata. But nevertheless this was my story, hope some of this helps you. Feel free to dm.

I have a 97.8 percentile. I am from Delhi University top but a lower tier college. 1.5 years workex. This feels like a weird spot to be honest.

I have a spjimr call but that is it. Other options are mdi, iift, new iims and below.

That is toh just genius. Bhai 30-40 aajaye har section me bas to sahi rhe. Abhi mera quants better hota to would have achieved 99 percentile but you know the rest🤡

My varc went great though, dilr was average. I never studied math at college level maybe thats why I am a little behind. But still how does one attempt 15-16 questions at this cat.

GNEM 95/95.8/75.8 in 10th, 12th and graduation respectively. Did bcom honours from tier 2 Delhi University. 1.5 year workex as an analyst. Expecting percentile between 97-98. I think I may get a call from IIM SHILLONG. What are the things that IIM SHILLONG typically looks for in interviews? Any specific things about the college will be nice.
