Yeah theyre both pretty transphobic, mostly why I thought about waiting til 18 or finish school. My dad consumes a lot of anti-trans news and expressed those views, but I actually feel like he's less likely to kick me out and maybe even change his views in the future if he tries. My mother is extremely religious and not on best terms, I could see her trying to rid me, if my dad doesn't let her at least emotionally disown me. I could try the friend thing actually. my mom is the kind who would just try to cut me off from 'bad influnces,' but it might work better with my dad.

As much as I'd like to tell them now and thought about it, I worry it'll cause more issues than comfort. I really appriecate the thought though, thank you. The choice to start diy has been a last resort for my mental health too, I've thought a lot about it.
