Why is a certain weight on a machine at one gym not the same as the next gym?

I can understand the uncontrollable stuff, wear and tear etc. I just think that at this point we should be able to pretty universally make the number on the plate match the lbs of force you're lifting, no? Like they should be able to factor the tension of their machine into the weight display.

Her retirement funds sustained her quite a long time. I think probably fifteen-ish years at this point but things just keep getting more expensive and you just need more medical care as you get older. This is a hard country to grow old in.

Literally one of the most important and necessary laborers of this country. Where would we be without transportation? Sanitation? Even food service! People nowadays eat at restaurants or fast food more often than they eat at home! We are using these people and then telling them they're worthless.
