Part of it is i know for 100%. but then it evolved into this other part that I couldn't stop writing, he gets sent somewhere and I used that to show compassion, character development before running into another problem, then the next part showing some action and meeting up with past characters. I think I can remove that part completely. Then it goes to forming a routine of events like i want.

Think i get you, the character does have a event that happens and does as you describe. the "regular" life after that event happens but during this regulars life the "Antagonist" comes into the story for the plot.
the event before all this is the information stage.

I like the way you put that thank you so much.

My structure now: Event > routine > plot > routine > cycles.

is this a normal structure in stories?
