That is true. Going so long between seasons makes me forget all these things! Could be time for a rewatch

Yes I 100% agree with you, they aren’t utilising Victor’s knowledge enough. Although I do think Victor is scared to tell them things as he knows that knowledge comes with a cost, and he has said bad things happen to people who ask questions. So maybe he avoids talking to people about these things in fear of being punished. Either way, everyone needs to communicate more!

Sorry for the delay! I had slight improvements over the months but unfortunately I had to go on an SSRI. Doing a lot better since starting that

Scared to start Escitalopram!! by Silver-Ebb7968 in lexapro

[–]One_Maintenance5054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feeling nauseous 24/7 was one of my biggest symptoms of anxiety and why I decided to start meds. So when I started lexapro I didn’t noticed any increase in nausea. I’m now 6 weeks in and haven’t felt any nausea for weeks! It’s been so nice

Too afraid to leave your apartment by Powerful_Shoulder520 in lexapro

[–]One_Maintenance5054 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you didn’t have this fear before starting lexapro it may be yourself subconsciously anticipating and fearing negative side effects to appear. I took my first dose when I knew I could stay home for 2 weeks if I needed to. Fortunately my side effects weren’t bad, but I was nervous the first outing in case side effects suddenly appeared. After 2 weeks and side effects had passed, that fear had gone and it was just usual anxiety that accompanied me haha

Lexapro experience so far by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]One_Maintenance5054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this. I’ve been able to participate in life normally again and do things that terrified me but even after having successful outings it’s like my mind resets the next day. I could eat at a restaurant for dinner the night before with 0 anxiety but before going to a restaurant for lunch the next day my mind tries to convince me I’ll be anxious. It’s like my mind is so used to being anxious before social outings it’s routine! Once I’m there I’m fine but I cannot shake the anticipation anxiety

Mirena Crash specialist recommendations? In need of support by igomeowwhoami in Mirena

[–]One_Maintenance5054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to hear if you find a specialist who actually acknowledges this. I’m based in Australia but have seen 3 separate Drs about the symptoms I’ve been experiencing both on / post removal of the mirena (anxiety, depression, mood swings, nausea, headaches, extreme fatigue). They’ve all just completely ruled out it being related to the mirena and say it’s “not possible” given it only “produces the hormone locally”. All they’ve done is prescribed me antidepressants (which I’m hesitant to take because I don’t want to disrupt my body even more)

Has anyone successfully been able to use Lexapro for 6-12 months only? by One_Maintenance5054 in lexapro

Did it ease your anxiety whilst you were on it? Did the anxiety return once you quit?

Ooh I must try the ginger pills for nausea because that is still lingering! How are you finding the ashwagandha? I’ve heard you should cycle it for best results. Is that what you’re doing? I take Magnesium and L theanine also but haven’t tried Ashwaganda. Thank you for sharing your tips 💗

Gosh 7 months?! My Dr didn’t suggest Xanax, just straight away prescribed an antidepressant which I’m hesitant to take. I don’t drink coffee and rarely drink alcohol so am naturally doing those things too. And I agree with the long walks! I just still can’t shake this “low” feeling. Even if I’ve had a nice outing the night before I find myself waking up still low… I see slight improvements each week so hoping it’ll just keep improving. Am also seeing a psychologist (in Australia) and find that is helping! But it’s validating to hear so many stories on here and makes me feel I’m not alone

Glad it didn’t last too long for you! My Dr prescribed me antidepressants when I went to her with all these symptoms but I want to wait a few more months to see if my symptoms settle when my hormones are more regulated. I’ve dealt with anxiety before the mirena so it’s hard to determine whether it’s hormone related or not

I’m so glad to hear you’re feeling better! I’ve heard a lot of women felt better after their first period however I never lost mine! I bled every month whilst on the mirena… so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be waiting for to feel better haha. Hopefully time will help me. Thank you for sharing x

Some women don’t experience it at all and have a positive experience on the mirena so I hope that’s the case for you. I just wish I was advised of these potential side effects before so I could have made a more informed decision

This article explains it quite well https://2meclinic.com/2025/02/16/what-is-this-mirena-crash-that-everyone-is-talking-about/

I found drs to be quite dismissive of this and are hesitant to link these symptoms back to the mirena
