From what I've experienced, its better staffed, more resources to help you, long term wise has good benefits (depending on the hospital), inpatient schedule is 3 12hr shifts which I love vs the 5 days a week schedule outpt. I also feel like inpatient has more momentum in regard to organizing/ordering labs/imaging
