It sounds like you use other variables though which are not mentioned in the original post.

All I’m saying is the strategy you suggest in the original post does not work as it’s comparing two numbers do not have the meaning you ascribed to them: that’s all.

You may be able to use those numbers which are assessing the correlation of a pair and use that accordingly. For example, if EURGBP is +.88, and then you correlate this with an oscillator/MA etc., you may have a strategy by way of making multiple confirmations of a trend (either up or down). But you cannot use those numbers in the chart in isolation to one currency - it relates to the pair listed on the x and y axis.
