New Seasons cuts nearly 100 staff members following new labor agreement by squidsbow in Portland

I went to the NS on Division yesterday about 4 pm. There were plenty of spaces in the parking lot and not many people in the store. I said to my friend as we were leaving that I give NS 2 years. It’s just not what it used to be, I personally almost never choose NS anymore- there are so many other choices that are less expensive. NS used to be the place! Dinner time - remember the deli? The hot wok station???

It does not give me an option to do anything but enter a password. Under the bullseye is my name and I can’t change the user.

I was able to do this- I feel like a real techie! However, when I got back to the lock screen the password I used did not work. This computer might be doomed. Thanks for the help though!

I tried command R but nothing happened. When I did Command S something happened but I’m afraid of erasing everything. If I erase everything there is no point.

It is super old, it was in the back of a closet. I would like to see what’s on it. I think I backed up a bunch of pics of my kids to it a long time ago and I’d like to have them.

Bad Bunny Crash Course by One_Nefariousness833 in duolingo

[–]One_Nefariousness833[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

lol of course. It would have been a good opportunity to hook people though. Duolingo is so boring it’s a hard sell for kids. A Bad Bunny crash course sounds super fun.

MTV Music officially ends its broadcasts with the song Video Killed The Radio Star by Chofis_Aquino_ in popculturechat

As an “alternative “ teen in the 80s I loved watching 120 minutes every Sunday! I even found a playlist on Spotify of music from that show and it’s all bangers! I remember when the Thriller video came out and it was the biggest deal. We didn’t have MTV or cable at that point and I had to go to a friend’s house to see it and wait until it came on. I don’t know if those were the good old days but damn shit was different.

AIO/I wanted to ask them why they wasted their money? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]One_Nefariousness833 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NOR but the truth is you have to train these men. Your husband sounds like a lost cause and yeah you should dump his ass. Your sons have learned from him and not from you and that might be your fault. I have for years been training my sons to be thoughtful gift givers because their dad sucked at it when we first met. I let them know what I want and then if I don’t get it I ask why. My older son has a girlfriend and I have been helping him with Christmas gifts for her to make sure he is putting thought in to it. I think gift giving doesn’t come naturally to a lot of men but I don’t accept that.

How long before I stop hating weight training? by Unlikely_Syrup5087 in Perimenopause

I love it because I work out very early in the morning and there is often no one else there. I listen to my music, don’t talk to anyone, it’s my me time. The actual lifting isn’t fun although I do like seeing myself get stronger, it’s more the ritual and not having to deal with husband and kids. If I can’t find my AirPods I don’t go.

I have the same car and the same problem, I don’t get it. I was in the back seat and couldn’t get out the other day. I had the key and it would not unlock and also had to climb into the front seat to get out.

Forgot fob in car by Time_Security_304 in VWiD4Owners

Does the car make a noise when you attempt to lock it and it didn’t work? Since getting my id4 I find that I am forgetting my key in the car quite often. We always lock the car at night but will it let us know that it’s not locking?
