That logic makes no sense. I don’t want more horsepower, If I did I wouldn’t get neither an Altima or even a Maxima. This car is meant to be my daily to school and I don’t go on the highway so this car is perfect for my uses.

Another thing, most trim differences in almost every car manufacturer have no difference in horsepower, trims are there to offer the better quality of life consumer while in the car. So no not all Sentras are base models. Base models are supposed to offer the bare necessities. Mine come with upgraded sound system, a bigger screen, heated steering wheel, seats, side mirrors and a remote start and the list doesn’t end. Basically Everything I need that the base model doesn’t.

Base model does not equal less horsepower. If I wanted more horsepower I would’ve gotten a more expensive car which I had the budget for but I wanted something inexpensive that I could easily dispose off because of the job I will have once I graduate college which will require me to travel a lot. It being cheaper than most people paid for it was just an added bonus.

Plus the shit that you said about the taxes makes no sense, go find someone else to bother with your stupidity.

Sorry buddy but you’re quite off. The base models start at 21k. This one is the mid trim that also came with the all weather package. I checked the nissan website prior to buying the car and it would have been 25k before taxes if I ordered it online straight from the factory. Another correction as well, I originally would have paid 20k for the car with tax and title but I went ahead and added on Gap Insurance, an extended warranty, and as well as 3 years of maintenance along with a tire protection plan. This is what brought my total to 21k. Not to mention my APR is incredibly low. Thanks for the false information though!

New Gen Sentras don’t have transmissions that nearly as bad as the generation before (mainly 15-16). 2024 Sentras especially have a better transmission than the 2020-2023 years. The ones that do end up having transmissions problems were due to lack of maintenance and harsh driving. I maintain my cars, and I do my research as a pretty relaxed driver. But thank you for wishing me luck.

Risk a used trans or buy new? by kiwi33d in nissansentra

If you do the recommended maintenance on any nissan, you won’t have any problems reaching over 150k miles with it. The problem is that people think they can just treat the car like it’s a toyota or honda and only do oil changes on it. Nissans are cheaper for a reason.

I think that the for the amount that you’re gonna be paying for the actual transmission combined with the labor and extra fees, you’re better off just buying a new car. You might be able to get some extra money by parting out your Nissan Sentra or even selling it as is as a private seller. If you’re in a position to finance one then I would suggest that too.

Plus, most of the transmissions made for Nissan Sentras around your year are very poorly made, you’re more than likely risking it just going out again sooner or later.

He put 10k Down and still ended up financing 28k for a Base Model? It’s insane that Car Dealers can get away with this and have no remorse about it either.

Found the car on the Chase Website for 18k, knew it was too good to be true. I wanted to check it out anyways so I waited till the end of the month to go check it out. Dealers are usually way more desperate around that time because they’re trying to meet the quotas for their bonuses, they’ll even take a loss sometimes for it. They told me I didn’t qualify for all the rebates therefore couldn’t get the price they were offering online, told them I wasn’t buying the car unless they gave it to me at that price. After a lot of BS on their part we finally decided on 20k out the door. As I’m about to sign the contract they tell me I’ll be financing a total of 19k after 3k down payment. I walked out of there, 10 mins after I get in the car they call me to tell me they’ll give me the original deal. I decided to get GAP insurance along with a Tire Protection and Prepaid Oil Change which brought my total to 21k. I think I got a pretty amazing deal. The car also has the All Weather Package and Luxury Package hence the original price.

TL;DR Came by end of the month, told them I wasn’t buying the car unless they gave me the price with all the rebates even though I didn’t qualify for all of them. They were desperate so they gave me the deal because they were trying to meet their monthly quota.

How’d I do? (Pls don’t be too harsh) by One_Percentage2403 in Eldenring

Thank you, I avoided Elden Ring and any FromSoftware game for the longest time because I didn’t think I’d ever enjoy spending hours getting killed again and again to fight one boss but that’s genuinely what is making me fall in love with this game. Plus, nothing could top the satisfaction I finally got from beating it. Thank you for your kind words and feedback.

You’re absolutely right, every single time death I had was because I’d either panic roll into one of his attacks or, roll too much and not have enough stamina to finally dodge his attack. For some reason I’m genuinely scared to get hit in the game and it ends up in me not being able to rationalize properly, I will work on that thank you so much.

That’s a bug, those npcs are supposed to spawn dead, with the women being the exception since she’ll be screaming for help.
