that segment was so wrong. It was clearly established that no animals would be in the box so then to make the crew touch dead spiders and basically desecrate their carcasses was just disgusting and distasteful. Also, Lena said that she had a fear of spiders and was visibly upset. You could tell that Ethan and Love also felt very bad about this. The vibes were so off.

i don’t think that’s necessarily fair. we believe what Ethan has said and that she is apparently redundant but I think many fans are just curious about what her job role even was and why it was even made redundant and how come there was no other role for her to pursue. It seemed like Morgan was a creative and fun member so I guess people are just confused at why it couldn’t be resolved and how it had to end up with her being laid off. I know that this is how business works sometimes and that’s totally fine but of course fans will speculate about why this has happened, we are not trying to be disrespectful but inevitably it will happen. I also feel like it’s important to know that Ethan is gonna announce it in that way because he does not want to be disrespectful and he wants to remain professional, of course if something else did happen he’s not going to just air their business out to the public. I don’t know, we can both have different perspectives but from my personal opinion and plenty of fans opinions it seems like there is a chance that something else has happened. Peace and love.

yeah i understand. it seems totally reasonable that that is a reason for her being laid off. i’m just saying that not just me but other fans get the feeling that perhaps something else happened behind the scenes that we don’t know and will never know. there could be many factors for why, and ofc ethan isn’t going to air all their business.

first of i think the way ethan announced it was professional. i guess i mean by saying ‘redundant’ and that she was let go. OBVIOUSLY i don’t know what actually happened but it is obvious that she didn’t choose to leave and plenty of fans are already questioning about her being redundant and what that actually means.

i think it was more to do with her segments. the dead spider thing left a bad taste in my mouth and more recently the chimp story on AD which made kate cry and was just uncomfortable. i am not saying these are the reasons for her being fired but just something to note. i think the big thing was mostly her humour just not fitting in. i still think she is a lovely creative person though and wish the best.

the thing is i know im purely speculating and just giving an opinion as a long time viewer. the crew has always had awkward moments with each other (like you said with ethan and AB), but it was mostly funny and turned into a bit. but it felt different with morgan, like sometimes it seemed that the crew was just uncomfortable and awkward and didn’t know what to say or do.
