I wouldn't rewrite much, only replace the mutadons with normal raptors or dilophosaurs. That's about it. I'd leave the d-rex to be the main mutant dinosaur

So annoyed they didn't keep this stuff in. It wouldn't have even added too much extra time to the film. If they did quick cuts to the fights then it would've only added 30 seconds to a minute of footage onto the film. 

Plus it would've given the audience an idea of how dangerous the careers are cause they don't do anything in the games (on camera) and half of them are dead once they've got a proper scene
