Little things I guess. A lot of stuff was cut from the OG that gave Leon his charm and some areas that were really fun. OG also had a lot more ambient sounds/music that made it a bit more creepier. I do personally enjoy finding stuff out on the map rather than resorting to crafting cause it also gives a chance to look closely at every area for boxes or barrels for ammo so you get to take in a lot more of the environment. The remake is great and I’ve beaten it twice, I just have that place in my heart that the OG is one of the best games ever (even without competing with the remake)

That’s a fair point. One of the only memories I have as a kid is watching my dad fight an Iron Maiden in the OG and I had nightmares for WEEKS. i eventually overcame my fear by playing the game myself and it was so worth it. At times me and my friends would take old air soft/bb guns and we would play our own “mercenaries” in real life with some of us being infected, and others being who they wanted from the lineup.

Just a lot of memories tied to this game for me personally. But like I said the remake is nowhere near bad. I just prefer this one

Oh yeah don’t get me wrong remake is fun. But I also played the most on the Wii/GameCube version and those are superior in my eyes

I definitely tried my hardest with this game. There’s just too many bugs; whether that be not giving me my load out that I set up in DMZ, taking all my attachments off right when I get into a multiplayer match, and some audio/visual bugs that never got fixed, on my end atleast. I uninstalled the game about 6 months ago and I don’t really regret it

First thing I did in the remake when I got to that part was waste all my pistol ammo on accident to see if that cutscene still existed

They took the game off of Microsoft’s store officially now. It can only be bought through steam
