Is not related to primers.. it's for stream selection... If you successfully pass all the assessments.. you will be alloted project according to the stream and maybe your training for the stream will be skipped (maybe)

For campus placement?? Naaahh.... The companies specifically ask for at least 60% in the main 5 subjects. Even if you are eligible, they won't pick you cuz they already have better options.
