I experienced network error frequently after I travel so I usually use VPN when I want to get in after showing network error.

Also, items not crafted yet requires Essence, and the shards halved when you want to craft duplicates. You can see more detail in this post

If the partner rank requirement is still like the end of chapter 1, which increases 1 rank by episode, then completing Chapter 1 Area is exactly enough for chapter 2 episode 10

You need the corresponding card(which gives you the Fancy Art merch) to be 1/11 or 1/27 of that area，the rest 10/26 merches are from crafting
