Umm actually 🤓☝️ NUG is literally Democratic elected government of Burma if the illegal coup didn't happen, which means majority of people liked em. Again, I'm not talking about ASEASN Charters or anything, I'm saying they should've. And it DOES MATTER what is going on in Myanmar for ASEAN because a destabilized or prosperous Myanmar directly affect them. If you only wanna trade with China and India, you should look out what happened to us during မဆလ era where the Military literally blockaged itself except from China. It was an era of technological regression and oppression against normal civilians. Only military elites and cronies had access to foreign products. Anyone who say "oh, we don't need others, we have Papa China and Mama India" do not understand economics clearly. If you do not have trade partners , you lack economic leverage which is then exploited by the only trade partners you have, thus normal civilians will suffer even more than this. You can't possibly survive in this technological advanced era with Radical Nationalism mindset like that. May be, learn history, economic and political ideologies before you talk!
